One Year Anniversary!

G and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on Monday.

I can hardly believe that a year has gone by since I walked down the isle and married the love of my life!

G started his leave on Monday, so we got to spend a lovely day together.  We went out to run a few errands on Monday morning, on our travels we decided to have lunch at this burger restaurant in Cape Town it was DELICIOUS!  I'm pretty sure that they make their own burger patties and they had this delicious relish that they put on the burger, yummy!

For dinner we went to this beautiful restaurant on one of the wine farms in Durbanville, it was such a beautiful evening. 

All in all it was a wonderful 1st Anniversary!

We decided before the time that we were not going to buy each other gifts, so I made us a similar version of this.  G liked it, it's not quite a present and it's something fun for both of us to enjoy.
We did get totally spoilt by friends and family which was unexpected.

We are leaving at the end of this week to go on holiday, we can't wait! It is going to be bliss to just relax, read and enjoy the beautiful sea view from the hotel.
